Hi all – Photo-Genie here,
One of my favorites genres is Street Photography. To me it is artistic and yet earthy and natural. Well, okay, I suppose I’m a people watcher at heart.
Lately, I’ve become hooked on YouTube and have discovered many excellent videos. I finally chose one video depicting the streets of New York. Take a look. It’s really a cool show. If you click the “full-screen” button you will get a great view and have the full effect. The photographer seems to capture a feeling.
Then I have some awesome black & white photography I came across by my late brother James Cronkhite. Hey, I just discovered I will have to resize the photos before displaying his photos on a WordPress blog. Well, okay, I’ll work on that.
In the meantime, you can check out his gallery here… James Cronkhite Gallery
Here we go with the street video…just give it a click:
I love a mystery and black & white street photography creates drama that baffles the understanding and cannot be explained. It reminds me of the old classic “Casablanca” staring Humphrey Bogart & Ingrid Bergman. I wonder if the mystery and the love story would be as captivating in color?
Chat with you soon again.
To your joy, to your happiness, to your success,
